WASHINGTON – Congressman Morgan Luttrell (R-TX) released the following statement after he was sworn in to serve his first term representing the 8th District of Texas in the United States House of Representatives.
“It is a privilege to represent the people of Texas’ 8th District and an honor to be sworn in for my first term in Congress,” said Congressman Morgan Luttrell. “I look forward to working with my colleagues to cut through Washington gridlock and find innovative solutions. I'll fight to defend our Texas values and put forward common sense ideas that will get our country back on track.”
Texas’ 8th Congressional District covers parts of Montgomery, Harris, Walker, and all of San Jacinto and Polk counties.
