Luttrell Applauds House Passage of Veterans’ Compensation Legislation

November 17, 2025

WASHINGTON — Congressman Morgan Luttrell (R-TX) issued the following statement after the House passed S. 2392, the Veterans’ Compensation Cost-of-Living Adjustment (COLA) Act of 2025, which ensures that veterans receiving compensation for service-connected disabilities, as well as the survivors of certain veterans, will see an increase in their benefits to match the rising cost of living. Luttrell introduced the companion version of this bill in the House.

“Today’s passage of the Veterans’ Compensation COLA Act provides our heroes with the peace of mind they deserve and access to the benefits they are owed,” said Luttrell. “I am proud to join my House colleagues in staying firm in our commitment to serving those who have served and protected us.”
