Luttrell Expresses Support for Israel
WASHINGTON – Congressman Morgan Luttrell (R-TX) is absent from Washington today due to the sudden death of a lifelong friend. While mourning this tragic loss, Congressman Luttrell acknowledges his support of a crucial U.S. ally, Israel, and condemns the hateful rhetoric from the left.
“My family and I are devastated by the unexpected death of our lifelong friend. His friendship was second to none, and this is a major loss to all who knew him,” said Congressman Luttrell. “While I cannot be in Washington today, I’m proud to see the House voting on a resolution expressing support for Israel. Recent antisemitic comments from Congresswoman Jayapal and other Democrats have been beyond the pale, far crossing the line into extremism. There should be zero tolerance for antisemitism in America, especially in the halls of Congress. Israel is a strategic partner and critical ally to America, and I’ll continue to stand in support of our partnership as we work to strengthen our great countries and promote peace in the Middle East.”
Congressman Luttrell is grateful for the condolences and prayers as he grieves a close friend.
