LIVINGSTON — Newly elected 8th District Congressman Marcus Luttrell was hosted by VFW Post 8568 on Wednesday for his first town hall meeting since being sworn in.
Congressman August Pfluger was part of a delegation of Texas Republicans that sent a letter to President Biden urging assistance at the southern border and reimbursement for Texas dollars spent on Operation Lone Star, according to a press release on Tuesday.
Six new members of the House Veterans’ Affairs Committee are veterans, including three former Navy SEALs.
Their appointments were announced Jan. 25. They are:
