WASHINGTON – Congressman Morgan Luttrell (R-TX), Chairman of the Veterans Affairs Subcommittee on Disability Assistance and Memorial Affairs (DAMA), today introduced the Veterans Compensation Cost of Living Adjustment Act of 2024. This legislation will increase the rates of compensation for veterans with service-connected disabilities, as well as the rates of dependency and indemnity compensation for the survivors of certain veterans as of December 1, 2024.

WASHINGTON – Congressman Morgan Luttrell (R-TX), along with Representatives Dale Strong (R-AL), Chris Deluzio (D-PA), and Elissa Slotkin (D-MI), introduced the Safeguarding Tactics and Operational Procedures (STOP) from Enemies Act of 2024 in the House of Representatives. This legislation would amend the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) to expand the definition of aiding the enemy to include providing military education, military training, and tactical advice to a foreign adversary.

WASHINGTON – Congressman Morgan Luttrell (R-TX) today voted in support of the Protecting Americans from Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act. This bipartisan legislation, which passed out of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce by a vote of 50-0, would protect Americans and prevent foreign adversaries, such as China, Iran, North Korea, or Russia, from targeting, surveilling, and manipulating the American people through online applications.

WASHINGTON – Congressman Morgan Luttrell today introduced the Cartel and Radical Terrorist Enforcement Log (CARTEL) Act, which requires Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to report if individuals on the Terrorist Screening Database (TSDB) were released into the interior of the United States along with individuals affiliated with cartel organizations.
